Confirmed Pokemon Platinum and Project Deadlines

May 20, 2008 Leave a comment

The Pokemon Platinum has been confirmed by Nintendo that it is official by 16th May 2008. Sorry I haven’t post it yet, it is because I have so many things to do. My project deadlines are getting close. One have been finished already, which is a HCI assignment and you can view it here. The other assignments are Software Development Project (which I have already finished but somehow the project manager gave me a new task concerning login modules), 3D Animation and Advanced Java (using Enterprise Java Bean)..

Anyway, enough talk about my projects, here are the official screenshots of Pokemon Platinum:

This is the new battle screen. Notice the new outfit for the male trainer and the new HP bar and box.

This is the screenshot regarding the Spear Pillar. Notice that Dialga and Palkia are both behind Giratina. And do note that the person in front of Giratina is Cyrus, not the player.

It’s official already, and you can see the original page here. Nintendo said that it will be released sometime in September 2008 (Japan).

Aside from that, yesterday I watched the movie Speed Racer. I’ll give you the review when I post again. See you next post..!

A (Not So) Busy Weekend

April 27, 2008 Leave a comment

This week is not as busy as previous weeks, and I reckon it would be busier in the next following weeks. The lecturers had begun to give many assignments and projects, and the final examination is in May. But nevertheless, this week is quite fun. I watched the movie Three Kingdoms, which told us the story of Zhao Zilong (Zhao Yun in the famous Dynasty Warriors franchise) from just a militia and rising up in ranks to one of Five Tiger Generals. It’s quite interesting for all of you who likes the Dynasty Warriors series, or anyone who like the story about the Three Kingdoms Era. And for all those who don’t know about it, well, it’s a story at the end of the Han Dynasty and the land was separated between three large factions, the Kingdom of Shu, the Kingdom of Wu and the Kingdom of Wei. This story about the unification of the land is so popular in China, and is very interesting to watch, although in the Three Kingdoms movie, we can only see from one side. I’ll write the review in the next post. I also have already downloaded the movie Knight Rider, the 2008 pilot episode, but I haven’t got the time to watch it.

Well, anyway, did you enjoy your weekend? See you in the next post!
