My Sanctuary

Approximately two days ago, the Japanese blog blue skY featured a scan from the latest CoroCoro magazine which features Shaymin in Sky Forme. With this, it is now official that it is really indeed Shaymin’s Sky Forme as was seen in the drinking cup, and also several features in the upcoming Pokemon Platinum version. Shaymin’s Sky Forme is Grass/Flying type with 0.4m in height and 5.4kg in weight. There are also several features:

• The Torn World, is a world which utilizes the 3D engine of your Nintendo DS.
• Shaymin will convert to Land Forme if traded to Diamond/Pearl and will convert back to Sky Forme if traded to Platinum (much the same as Deoxys forme in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and FireRed/LeafGreen).
• There are several new areas to explore, including the aforementioned Torn World.
• There are (at this time) two new characters. It seemed that Sinnoh is somehow cooler than it was in Diamond/Pearl, and supposedly the purpose of this two new character is to explain that.
• As you might already know, the main character will get new apparels. The new suits are because the climate in Sinnoh is cooler.
• The Pokemon Platinum box art will feature Giratina in its Origin Forme.
