Guides on How to Find the Right Notebook

June 1, 2008 3 comments

Most of the people nowadays already have computers or notebook PC on their possession. However, there are also several people who wanted to buy new ones, but not knowing what to choose or what to look for. As I have told you before, in this post I’ll provide several tips for finding or selecting the right notebook for every possible situation (that I might think of, actually). I know that there are already several tips on this matter, but I’ll also give the tips that might be overlooked. For the record, I also have a notebook that I bought about 1.5 years ago. So my notebook specs is not up to date. However, I can still use it because I know what to look for in a notebook.

June 2008: New Category and Celebrating Birthday

June 1, 2008 1 comment

It’s already June now, guys!! It’s time to go to beach (for those who resides in the northern hemisphere) and probably relaxing in your home (for those who are in the southern hemisphere). Well, I myself took the post-semester (since it’s summer in northern and winter in southern, so I’ll use a rather neutral term) course for the next two months, as you might have read in the previous post. There are some great movies that I want to watch this month, Prince Caspian, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skull, and at the 13th of June, Incredible Hulk (you can view the trailer here). I know that most of you watched Prince Caspian and Indiana Jones already, so probably I’ll just post the review for Incredible Hulk later when I have watched it.

Anyway, for you new readers, welcome to my sanctuary!! This is a place where I usually post things that really excites me, or just happening in my life. I’m jovee, and I’m a student in ICT major. I’m planning to move to Melbourne next year and continue my studies at Swinburne University of Technology. I have been running this blog since last year, but some issues made me to left it for several months. And now I’m back to blogging as usual (and no, I don’t intend to leave it again, ever). There was two sanctuaries that I have, actually. The one in WordPress and the one in Live Spaces. But now I only have one sanctuary which is in WordPress, and it’s official since this June. And even though I’m an ICT student, doesn’t mean that my posts will be all about tech or gadgets or something similar. I will posts anything that I think is great and happening now, well, of course from my point of view.

In this month, I plan to add a new category (last month I added the VAIO Calendar), which is Tips and Tricks. It will contain guides, tips and tricks for you guys. I hope that it will be useful for you. The first post will be a guide to find the right notebook for you. I’ll post it today. Yeah, you read it right, today, but probably at night (my time is GMT+7) around 8PM or 9PM (that’s 1PM or 2PM in Greenwich). I want to make sure that you all get the most accurate guides before I post them. So just enjoy the guides, folks. And another to note is that I will posts several trivia and facts in my posts, particularly in my Daily Activities category.

In the third week of this month, I’ll be celebrating my 20th birthday. Yes, I’m still 20 years old and I still have a long way to go. Hopefully I would be able to give some special content to you readers (I’m still thinking about it now, though).

Also, I would like to hear about your comments. You can leave any comments here. I would like to know about you, my readers, because you could inspire me to be better. So enjoy the blog, and see you next post..!

jovee~

Fast fact:
The latest email term has been given a name: bacn. It is when you sign up for newsletter and bulletins, but don’t necessarily need to read it now…or probably ever. It is more like a self-inflicted spam. A tasty snack indeed…
